How to Be Yourself
How to Be Yourself is the first part of The Big Life Course. In four weekly zooms, you will become more aware of what is going on for you and what you can do about it.
You’ll be able to notice your thoughts and feelings, and discover you can change them. You’ll realise you can accept yourself just the way you are, and develop yourself too.
It’s fun. You’ll do things like following your breathing, watching your thoughts and tuning into your feelings, all on zoom, from wherever you are.
We’ll work in one large group and in smaller break-outs where you explore your thoughts and feelings. You can be as open or otherwise as you want to be. You’ll discover you are not alone. We all have hopes and fears and we all struggle sometimes.
You’ll clarify what is important to you and how can live it more fully. You’ll discover the main person who has been holding you back has been you. You’ll accept that what we call successes and failures happen, and how we can bounce back.
There are four 90-minute weekly zoom workshops in How to Be Yourself, and no travel. We won’t tell you how to be you, you will find out for yourself. It’s your Big Life.
Build Brilliant Relationships
Build Brilliant Relationships is the second part of The Big Life Course. In four weekly zooms, you will learn how you can develop positive relationships with lots of people.
We’d all prefer to relate well and build better relationships, at work, socially and at home. It often doesn’t happen, but it could.
You’ll become more aware of other people, and how you are when you’re with them. We’re working by zoom throughout, so it’s easy to connect, and it is safe.
You’ll become more aware of who you are thinking about, how you can focus on others and how you can manage your relationships.
You’ll discover how we build relationships and how we can build better ones. They will identify what people want to give and receive in professional and social relationships.
We’ll understand why relationships sometimes goes bad, when it needn’t and how we can improve even difficult relationships, if we are willing.
We’ll work in small groups as well as one large group, and you will share as little and as much as you feel comfortable doing, all while building relationships.
There are four 90-minute weekly zoom workshops in Build Brilliant Relationships, and no travel. We won’t tell you to build brilliant relationships, but you’ll experience them.
Make a Difference
Making a Difference is the third part of The Big Life Course. In four weekly zooms, you will discover how you can make a bigger difference in your work and life, on purpose. Who doesn’t want to make the world they affect a better place: so how will you do it?
You make a difference in lots of ways. In the way you work, connect with friends and contribute to community, even with a smile. You’ll discover how you can work better.
You’ll notice things need fixing, in your work, your community, and your social circle. You’ll think about what is important to you and how you can live the difference. You will live life more on purpose.
We’ll work in one large group and in smaller-break out discussion groups. You’ll learn from some great ideas, your own reflections, and one another.
You’ll identify more opportunities to make a difference and sense where you can start. Motivation will shift from people telling you what to do to you deciding what to do.
There are four 90-minute weekly zoom workshops in Making a Difference, the last of which is a review of The Big Life Course. You will discover the difference you can be.
